Hubungan Umur dan Status Komorbid dengan tingkat kematian pasien covid-19 di RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdul Madjid Kota Bekasi

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit infeksi disebabkan oleh SARS-CoV-2 yang menyebabkan peningkatan morbiditas dan mortalitas yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kematian pada pasien covid-19. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan observasional kohort retrospektif dengan data sekunder dari medical record. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien yang dirawat di RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdul Madjid Kota Bekasi dari Bulan September 2020 sampai dengan April 2021. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh pasien covid 19 yang berusia lebih dari 18 tahun dan memiliki komorbid sebanyak 1.371 pasien. Analisis menggunakan chi square test. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa kasus pada pasien laki-laki lebih banyak 724 (52,8%) dibandingkan dengan pasien perempuan 647 (47,2%) dengan tingkat kematian pada laki-laki lebih tinggi yaitu 33,1%. Jenis komorbid yang paling banyak adalah DM, Hipertensi, Penyakit Jantung, penyakit paru dimana kejadian hipertensi, penyakit jantung dan paru prevalensi terbanyak pada laki-laki. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan umur dan status komorbid dengan tingkat kematian pasien covid-19 dengan nilai p value keduanya 0.0001 dan OR pada status komorbid 5,08. Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan status komorbid yaitu komorbid lebih dari satu berisiko mengalami kematian sebesar 5 kali dibandingkan pasien yang hanya memiliki satu macam komorbid. Saran peningkatan upaya pencegahan dan penanganan faktor komorbid yang dapat memperberat dan meningkatkan risiko kematian pada pasien covid-19 dengan edukasi dan pemberian terapi
