Authors should explain the information sources, search terms, search period, literature-selection approach, and method used to organize and synthesize the evidence.
Results should preferably be organized into themes, concepts, or domains.
Recommended quality framework: SANRA.
Download Narrative Review TemplateA Scoping Review is suitable for mapping available evidence, clarifying concepts, identifying research characteristics, and identifying knowledge gaps.
Recommended framework: PCC — Population/Participants, Concept, and Context.
Reporting guideline: PRISMA-ScR and appropriate JBI guidance.
A PRISMA-ScR Flow Diagram should be included.
Download Scoping Review TemplateA Systematic Review must use a transparent and reproducible method to identify, select, appraise, and synthesize relevant evidence.
Reporting guideline: PRISMA 2020.
Authors should clearly report the review question, eligibility criteria, information sources, complete search strategy, screening process, data extraction, risk-of-bias assessment, and synthesis method.
A PRISMA 2020 Flow Diagram should be included.
Download Systematic Review TemplateMeta-analysis should normally be conducted as part of a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Reporting guideline: PRISMA 2020.
Authors should report the effect measure, statistical model, heterogeneity, I² and τ² when applicable, subgroup analysis, sensitivity analysis, publication bias assessment, and statistical software.
Clinical case manuscripts should use the article type Case Report.
Reporting guideline: CARE Guidelines.
The words “Case Report” must appear in the title. The manuscript should include patient information, clinical findings, timeline, diagnostic assessment, intervention, follow-up, and outcomes.
