Peningkatan Pengetahuan Aktivitas Fisik pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar melalui Edukasi Kedokteran Olahraga

Rendahnya pemahaman mengenai pentingnya aktivitas fisik pada anak usia sekolah dasar dapat berdampak pada pembentukan gaya hidup sedentari sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa melalui edukasi kedokteran olahraga di SDIT Adzkia Padang. Intervensi dilakukan melalui penyuluhan terstruktur dan demonstrasi aktivitas fisik, dengan evaluasi penilaian awal dan penilaian akhir. Tingkat pengetahuan siswa dievaluasi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan tes tertulis dan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pengetahuan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan setelah edukasi, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya proporsi nilai pada kategori tinggi serta tidak ditemukannya lagi nilai pada kategori rendah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi kedokteran olahraga yang terstruktur dan interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai aktivitas fisik. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan promotif berbasis sekolah untuk mendukung pembentukan perilaku hidup aktif pada anak usia dini.
