Abstract

Mobile health and family consulting services aims to provide public health-related services for free and as a data collection tool to formulate policies related to efforts to improve public health. Service activities were carried out at various locations in Bogor City by collecting data in the form of age, weight, height, percent body fat, and visceral fat. Data collected in the period of March 2015 to March 2020 (n = 3,482) showed that almost half of subjects with normal nutritional status had excess adiposity. Men were found to have higher visceral fat than women at normal nutritional status. Excess adiposity in normal nutritional status is associated with the incidence of metabolic syndrome. Therefore, the results of examination of body composition are needed as the basis for the formulation of a metabolic syndrome prevention program.
