Implementasi Program Edukasi Menyusui Melalui Buku Saku Sebagai Upaya Pemberdayaan Ibu Bekerja

Permasalahan rendahnya cakupan ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja di Indonesia menjadi salah satu kontributor tingginya prevalensi stunting. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan program edukasi buku saku ASI perah untuk pemberdayaan ibu menyusui yang akan kembali bekerja di Kelurahan Kereng Bangkirai Kota Palangka Raya. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi koordinasi dengan pemangku kepentingan, pelaksanaan pretest, pemberian edukasi menggunakan buku saku, demonstrasi teknik memerah ASI, dan posttest. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2024 dengan 20 peserta ibu menyusui. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan peserta, dimana sebelum edukasi 85% peserta berpengetahuan kurang, setelah intervensi 75% peserta memiliki pengetahuan baik dan tidak ada lagi peserta dengan pengetahuan kurang. Implementasi program edukasi buku saku ASI perah terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pemberdayaan ibu bekerja dalam upaya meningkatkan cakupan ASI eksklusif. Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan untuk mengadopsi program serupa secara berkelanjutan di tingkat komunitas.
